ERASMUS +
Erasmus+ is an international exchange programme in the field of education, training, youth and sport. This programme aims to give students, trainees, staff and generally citizens with or without a diploma the opportunity to stay abroad to enhance their skills and increase their employability.
It helps organisations work in international partnerships and share innovative practices in the fields of education, training and youth. Erasmus+ also has an important international dimension. This dimension allows the programme to be open to activities of institutional cooperation, mobility of young people and staff at global level.
I AM A STUDENT (COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL)
Students (college, high school): Students whose institution is involved in an Erasmus+ project. Any school, public or private, under contract for general, technical and vocational education at the college and high school level, can set up an Erasmus+ project.
Be careful! Students enrolled in sections of senior technicians (STS), courses preparatory to the teaching of schools (PPPE) or classes preparatory to the major schools (CPGE) are covered by higher education.
Duration of the Erasmus+ mobility: from 2 days to 1 year.
Salary: between 200 and 600 € per month for studies. Between 350 and 700 € for an internship.
I AM A STUDENT (GRADUATE)
All students enrolled, including in alternance, in a higher education institution such as for example high schools preparing a BTS; nursing training institutes; universities preparing a BUT; a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree or a doctorate; or engineering and business schools can benefit from Erasmus+ mobility. Mobility for studies or internships can be carried out from the first year of study.
Duration of Erasmus+ mobility: from 2 to 12 months maximum per study cycle. Shorter physical mobilities, ranging from 5 to 30 days, are possible if combined with virtual activities. These are the so-called hybrid mobilities.
Remuneration: between 200 and 600 € per month for studies. Between 350 and 700 € for an internship.
I AM IN APPRENTICESHIP
Students who are apprentices and holders of a professionalization contract preparing for a technological or professional diploma, title or professional certification registered at the RNCP level 3 (such as the certificate of professional skills – CAP) or level 4 (the professional baccalaureate for example) can benefit from an Erasmus+ mobility.
The structure you are enrolled in must be a participant in the Erasmus+ programme.
Warning! Students and apprentices after the baccalaureate fall within the higher education sector.
Duration of the Erasmus+ mobility: 1 day to 12 months depending on the activity carried out.
Remuneration: between 800€ and 1300€ per month.
I AM A JOB SEEKER
Trainees in vocational training, employees in continuing training schemes financed by the company or a fund-raising organisation, job seekers, persons with social or occupational integration and staff; Employees or volunteers accompanying them may benefit from Erasmus+ mobility.
Duration of the Erasmus+ mobility: from 2 days to 1 year
Remuneration: expenses covered + unemployment benefits maintained. If no RSA, the employment office will award you a lump sum allowance.
I AM A TEACHER
Teachers, trainers, management and supervisory staff, administrative and technical staff working in an educational or training structure (schools, higher education institutions, vocational training bodies, adult education structures, etc.), may benefit from training mobility or teach abroad.
Duration of the Erasmus+ mobility: from 2 days to 1 year, not including travel time.
