Europe en Hainaut is labelled Europe Direct centre. Our mission is to raise awareness of European issues and to enable them to better understand how the European Union works. Thanks to the funding allocated, local associations and authorities can benefit from personalised support, advice from the PLIE of Hainaut and FSE+ grants from Europe in Hainaut to make their ideas and projects a reality. Europe en Hainaut thus contributes to sustainable development by promoting inclusive and solidarity-based local actions.

Europe en Hainaut has developed a service to help young people with mobility, both at European and international level, by offering them support and giving them the opportunity to experience mobility. It is about young people on the move acquiring new knowledge and skills by training abroad. This service facilitates access to opportunities such as missions, internships abroad and European voluntary work. We are helping to build a more competent, confident and open-minded youth.

Europe en Hainaut piloting an action "Just Transition Fund" aimed at mobilizing and supporting various local actions in support of local policies in Hainaut, to promote the adaptation of the level of employability of vulnerable groups in the context of economic changes linked to the ecological transition. The objective is to enable the European JTF programme to play its full role in helping regions to find new jobs for people who are far removed from the labour market and whose difficulties are growing in a rapidly changing labour market.
