Erasmus+
Students whose establishment is involved in an Erasmus+ project can participate in the various mobility programs offered. Any school establishment, public or private, under contract for general, technical and professional education, in middle and high school, can apply and take the necessary steps with our organization in order to set up the aforementioned mobility programs.
Regardless of age, profile and level of studies, students can go, alone or in a group, for a stay lasting from 2 days to 1 year in one of the 33 countries participating in the program.
These mobilities are of two types:
-
individual, to study or do an internship in a partner school in Europe
-
in groups of students, to allow educational teams and students to work together on a common theme and to meet in a school establishment.
Remuneration: between €200 and €600 per month for studies. Between €350 and €700 for an internship.
Please note! Students enrolled in higher technician sections (STS), in preparatory courses for teaching in schools (PPPE), or in preparatory classes for grandes écoles (CPGE) are part of higher education.
OFAJ: Voltaire or Brigitte Sauzay Program
The Brigitte-Sauzay program is a medium-term (6 months) individual student exchange program. The Voltaire program is a long-term (1 year) individual student exchange program. These programs are divided into two separate parts, the first half in France and the other half in Germany. Both are based on reciprocity and rely on the trust of each of the two partner students, their families and their schools in the education system of the neighboring country.
The search for a German partner student must be undertaken directly by the French student with the support of their establishment, if they have a partnership with a German establishment.
If the establishment does not have such a partnership, the family can rely on the D(r)areic), the twinning committee of the municipality and/or the classified ads offered on the OFAJ website. It is important to note that participation in the Brigitte-Sauzay and Voltaire programs is the responsibility of the families. However, the success of the exchange depends largely on the educational support provided to the student before, during and after their stay.
Brigitte Sauzay exchange program:
For students in the fourth, third, second or first year of secondary school who have been learning German for at least two years, the OFAJ offers a 6-month student exchange program during which the French student spends 3 months in Germany with the correspondent's family and then hosts the correspondent in his or her home for 3 months. This allows them to discover the school system, family and daily life and the culture of the other country. It also offers them the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the partner's language.
Voltaire Exchange Program:
The Voltaire program is an individual exchange program for young people in the 3rd and 2nd grades. For 6 months, students go to live with a host family, attend classes in a school and discover daily life in Germany. Then, they in turn host their correspondent from Germany, again for 6 months in order to introduce France to German students.
